Allison Joy Langer
Allison Joy Courtenay, nee Langer was born on May 22, 1974. She's also known as A. J. Langer. She played Rayanne Graff on the television show My So-Called Life.Allison Joy Langer was born in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Deana, an audiologist who ran the company that distributes hearing aids and Gary Langer, who worked as a sales representative for a wholesale fashion retailer. At the age of five years old, she moved to San Fernando Valley with her family. Her classmates thought her name Allison was too feminine, and she began to call her "A.J." as she joined a baseball team for boys. Kirk is her brother. Langer was cast in Rayanne Graff's role in My So-Called Life after she had recurring roles on several TV shows like Baywatch, The Wonder Years and Drexell's Class. She was also a part of the ensemble cast of the sitcoms Three Sisters and It's Like, You Know... as well as the drama Eyes. Film appearances in her films include John Carpenter's Escape From L.A., and Wes Craven’s horror film The People Under the Stairs.
